trying to figure out

you know when you have a plan for your life?

everything you do is to reach that end goal.

something so perfect, so marvelous.

you can't wait.

And then one thing happens, and all those plans fly out the window.

I had a plan for my life.

I knew exactly what I wanted,

I knew what was going to happen.

I had a plan.

It was all set.

Step 1....

and then happily ever after.

It was perfect.

But then, one thing happened.

And now my plan is out the window.

So, I have no plan for my life.

Do I really want to be an editor my whole life?

Teacher?

Architect?

Huh?

To be so sure of something, and then all of a sudden

poof.

Gone.

Not sure anymore.

ah the joys of college football

What a great weekend to be a U football fan.

Despite the frigid temperatures, and low scoring first half,

my Utes pulled off the win!

Thank goodness for Burton and his sweet blocking capabilities.

However, throwing out my back as I jumped from the stands to the field....

not so wonderous!

But, it's alright!

I will survive.

After all, when Utes beat Cougars, everything is okay!

My absolutely adorable, totally loveable kitty.

She became mine today.

Thank you, Humane Society.

She's 9 months old, half calico half tabby.

And though I am covered in little kitty scratches...

I'm so very glad to have her.

I'm clearly failing

My day today...

I woke up this morning, well, my alarm rang at 6:40.  I reset it for 7:40
—as I always do on Tues. and Thurs.—
and went back to sleep.
Not enough sleep.
Went to institute, ate a delicious grilled cheese sandwich on my freezing cold, T-Swift filled walk to
AEB.  aka Family Studies class.
The wind howled through the windows the whole class.
Luckily, I don't have to go back to that building until after Thanksgiving!
I hurried my Tom-covered feet back to my car so I could go nanny.
Adorable child didn't nap, she just sang songs in her crib.
For over an hour.
I cleaned the toy room...and read HP #7.
Rushed off to work.
Edited some stories. Yay yay yay!
Came home.
Ate a hamburger, watched 20 mins of Glee. Mom wanted to go to Nords Rack.
So we went. I got a coat, and a scarf.
Then I came home and worked out my stress to a crazy work-out video.
Go me!  I got some exercise.

Maybe day 2 will be more interesting...

That's probably why my favorite thing to buy at my work is

HAND SOAP!

Of the cleansing variety, mind you.

I have 16 bottles of hand soap (one is currently in use).

Yes, that's weird. I know.

And, dearest dearest people:
It is not "all of the sudden"

"all the sudden."
It is
"all of a sudden!"
Sorry, that's a major pet peeve of mine.
Also, anyways is not a word.

I have a dentist appointment today.

For those of you who don't know....

I hate the dentist.

Mostly because last time I went, I left with

$100+ of damage that I needed to take care of.

I am grateful to have dental insurance and clean teeth,

but really.

No broken things this time please.

If you don't remember what happened, see

this post.

I think when I get there I'm going to say something.

I can't deal with a broken retainer again.

But, I hate the dentist.

The man that is my dentist is great,

but the dentist in general---ew.
